– a step-by-step picture &
video guideMini flower stitchMini flower stitch Pinterest

Today I’m sharing a lovely flowery crochet stitch with you – “The Mini Flower Stitch”. This stitch contains a few basic stitches as well as a few alterations. You’ll need to know single crochet stitches & chains – & the rest will be explained as you go.

If you have bought one of my patterns, you might wonder how it is done. The pattern always offers written text in addition to charts, but now I will share a step by step picture guide with you. In addition there is a video of how to crochet this stitch on the bottom.

Today I suggest that you learn the stitch & then you should use it in a project! You can make you own project, but on the bottom of this post I have also included all crochet patterns that are using “The Mini Flower Stitch”!

Mini Flower Stitch – the STEP-BY-STEP picture guide:

1. How to start

Since the purpose of this post is to learn the stitch I suggest that you start by making a small test square:

1. Chain 10 stitches, turn.

2. Single Crochet along chain row, turn.

Then you are ready to start “The Mini Flower Stitch”!

(If you are uncertain about “Chains” check my “Beginners Guide to Crochet Part 1” – and for “Single Crochet” the “Beginners Guide To Crochet Part 2”.)

Now you have finished one “Mini Flower”. Now you repeat the “Mini Flower Stitch” across the row. End the row with one single crochet in the last stitch.

It should look like this:

When you turn & crochet the second row you should put your hook through the chain from previous row each time.
