7 Ideas to Crochet This Fall
Today I’m sharing a crochet list with some of my favorite crochet ideas for the fall. When the leaves start changing colors & the nights get darker, it’s usually the time when everyone start crocheting again. Longer nights, candlelight & a cup of tea accompanied by a new crochet project is all I could ever ask for.
For me the first priority is to start adding some more wool yarns to my crochet projects as soon as I let my self admit that summer is over. And YES, id rather wait to admit that until the very last week of September. Even though summer is usually more or less over as soon as school starts in August.
These 7 Ideas to Crochet is all about wool yarn & warm, cozy projects.
First I’d like to start of with suggesting you’ll add a pair of socks to your fall crochet list. It’s such a amazing & timeless crochet project. It’s gotten a too little love, as you’ll almost never see crocheted socks. Most are knitted. Look at amazing ideas over at Pinterest. Search “Crochet Socks”.
Second idea is to add a shawl to you crochet list this season. It’s nothing like a real warm & cozy shawl. Just recently I also added a shawl pattern to my shop, even though it calls for cotton yarn, it’s super hot & a great quick way to make something beautiful. You’ll find the pattern here: Actus Shawl.
I promised you cozy ideas & it’s only fitting to add a crochet blanket idea to this fall. On Pinterest there’s thousands of blanket ideas, but I’ve added a link to this pin of a lovely one.
Next thing on your crochet list should be a crochet shrug. I’m so loving the many cocoon shrugs that are showing up both in Instagram & Pinterest these days. It’s for sure on my list for a new crochet design, but not right now. See more shrugs om Pinterest. Search “Cocoon Shrug Crochet”.
Crocheted mittens are another great idea to add to your list to crochet this fall. I’m sure you’re already feeling how cold your hands get when you get outside these days? Especially during the evening. That’s why this is one of my favorite project for fall & winter. On the picture are the Bellus Mittens. You can read more here.
Steering wheel warmer
To add to keep your hands warm, this is such a neat idea. Driving when it’s cold outside is the worst when your hands are freezing. Crocheting a cover with some really warm yarn is such a quick & easy idea. See more examples on Pinterest. Search “Steering wheel warmer crochet”.
Last idea is to crochet a cardigan this fall. Pictured are “The Summer Cardigan” – even though the name says summer, I’m so loving how you can make it with wool yarn & make this anyway. You can see more details on this project here.
I hope you enjoy these ideas & don’t end up with starting no crochet project this fall. Please comment below if you’ve got more crochet project ideas for fall.
